The DACA program continues to be under attack. On October 5th, 2022, the 5th Circuit ruled that DACA is unlawful and sent it back to the lower courts to make a final decision on the future of the program.

Yes. Renewals continue to be processed. DACA recipients are advised to continue to renew in a timely manner, especially those that have less than six months remaining on their current work permit.

U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services USCIS is accepting first-time applications from individuals, but they are being placed on hold and no decision will be made until a final court ruling is made.
